Moscow (ST): The deputy head of the Russian Diplomatic Association, Ambassador Andrei Poklanov, announced that Syria’s victory over international terrorism has led to the changes taking place in the region.
Poklanov said in a statement to news reporter in Moscow: We congratulate the Syrian friends because we have been together since the beginning, and that Russia has not and will not change its position and never traded its friendship with Syria from the beginning until today, expressing Moscow’s satisfaction with the positive developments taking place in the region regarding the return of Syrian-Arab relations.
In a similar interview, the diplomat and professor at the Scientific Research University “Higher School of Economics” and at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Benjamin Popov, said: The international changes taking place today in the world were primarily a result of the victories achieved by Syria over international terrorism.
Popov pointed out that the stronger the relations between the Arab countries, the easier it will be for them to overcome difficulties and crises.
For his part, the head of the Russian Foundation for Solidarity with Syria, Sergey Boborin, affirmed that Syria’s return to its Arab surroundings indicates that the unipolar world has begun to collapse, and a process of forming a multipolar world is taking place.
