Russian Foreign Ministry: The Polish authorities have crossed all limits of reason

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova emphasized today that the Polish authorities are currently at the forefront of anti-Russianism and Russo phobia.

Commenting on the attack on the Russian ambassador to Warsaw, Sergey Andreev, at the memorial cemetery for Soviet soldiers last Monday, Zakharova told Solovyov Live channel, “The Polish authorities have crossed all limits of reason and simply trampled on morals, which may no longer exist for them because Polish authorities not only condone  Russophobia, but Poland is at the forefront of it and at the same time understands what it can lead to and has already done.”

Zakharova added: We raised this issue at the diplomatic level, and our compatriots answered in their own way.

Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau described the attack on Russian Ambassador Andreev as an unfortunate incident, and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin reacted negatively to the incident.

The Russian Investigative Committee said it would determine the circumstances of the attack on Russian diplomats in Poland and would identify those involved and take measures to bring them to justice.
