Russian Coordination Center Provides Humanitarian Aid to Residents of Jisreen Village in Damascus countryside

Damascus countryside, (ST) – Military personnel from the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim provided humanitarian aid to residents of Jisreen village in Damascus countryside province.

SANA’s correspondent reported that the aid was distributed at the village school, where Russian military personnel delivered more than 3 tons of food aid including “flour, sugar, sunflower oil, tea, and canned milk.”

The correspondent noted that military doctors from the center organized a temporary medical check-up point at the school, where citizens were received and provided with medical assistance, advice and necessary medications.

The school administration and representatives from the village’s local council expressed their gratitude to the Russian military personnel and the Russian Federation for these initiatives and support, which expresses the strength of relations between the two countries, Syria and Russia.
