Russian army liberates new town, shoots down 47 Ukrainian drones

Moscow (ST) – Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that its forces managed to liberate the town of Vyshnevoye in Donetsk during the past 24 hours, destroy drone production workshops, and shoot down 47 drones on various combat fronts.

The ministry stated in its daily report on the special military operation that the Ukrainian army lost more than 30 soldiers at the hands of the Russian “North” forces on the Kharkiv axis, and about 460 soldiers at the hands of the “West” forces in the Kharkiv region and the Donetsk People’s Republic.

According to the ministry, units of the “South” forces group continued their advance deep into the defenses of the Kyiv forces in Donetsk, whose losses exceeded 520 soldiers, while units of the “East” forces group improved their position along the front line in Donetsk, where the Ukrainian army lost about 105 soldiers.

Units of the “Dnepr” forces group targeted Ukrainian forces and military equipment in the Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, inflicting losses of up to about 60 soldiers.

The ministry reported that a train loaded with armored vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian forces, an oil depot, military airport infrastructure, energy facilities used by the Ukrainian army, workshops for the production of drones, and concentrations of troops and military equipment in 140 areas were hit, and 47 drones were shot down.
