Romanian researcher: Syria has an impressive cultural heritage

Bucharest (ST) – The head of the Center for Studies and Dialogue at the Romanian University of Bucharest, Elie Valentine, affirmed that Syria has had an impressive cultural heritage in the East, through the creativity and cultural characteristics that its history carries.

Valentine stated: “The Center for Studies and Dialogue is very interested in establishing academic relations with Syrian universities and institutions, based on the importance and feasibility of cooperation with Syria, which represents the cradle of religions and civilizations and enjoys a unique historical status.”

“If we think and take into account the historical relations between our peoples, we see that there must be an effort for joint communication that can establish inspiration for each other in the future”, he added.

Regarding the role of the center, Valentine stressed that his country maintains relations and cooperation with institutions and universities in many countries, including Arab ones, in addition to close cooperation within Romania itself with the European-Romanian-Arab Cultural Center, by organizing conferences and forums.
