Residents of Ruwaishid village block the Al-Kharafi road between Al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor to protest against the (SDF) militias’control of oil fields

On December 14, residents of Ruwaishid village, in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, protested against the crimes of the US-backed SDF militias’ .They also  condemned their stealing and smuggling of oil.

Local sources said that protests took place in the village where the demonstrators blocked the Al-Kharafi road connecting the governorates of Hasaka and Deir Ezzor to protest against the control of the SDF militias over the oil fields north of Deir Ezzor.

On December 13, dozens of residents of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor gathered in the town of Abu Hammam, to protest against the repressive practices of the SDF militias and poor living conditions in their areas.
