Nanjing,(ST)_Promising Syrian athlete Fatima Rayya has accomplished a remarkable achievement as she managed to clinch the 2000 m steeplechase discipline title in the 2nd Asian Youth Games currently being held in Nanjing,China.

Rayya finished the race with a time of 7 minutes,7 seconds and 82 parts of a second only to break her previous record 7 minutes,8 seconds and 49 parts of a second.A player from Vietnam came second and the third place went to her fellow citizen .
