Qouja Shines in Pakistan

DAMASCUS,(ST)-Outstanding player Omar Qouja,a member for the national billiards and snooker team, has scored a remarkable result as he came second in the Asia Billiards Championship which was wrapped up in Pakistan.

Super players from 29 countries , internationally classified, took part in the said event.

Qouja’s result is the best in the history of the Syrian billiards and snooker where he made it through to the World Championship finals.    

It is worth noting that the international federation has recognized Syria as first in the Arab world and fifth internationally in this sport.
