On May 30th, President Bashar Al-Assad received a cable of congratulations from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, on his victory in the presidential elections.
In his telegram, the Sultan of Oman expressed his sincere congratulations and wishes for success for President Al-Assad in continuing to lead the Syrian people to achieve their aspirations for stability, progress and prosperity.
