President Al-Assad to SBS: Most Western Officials Repeat What the U.S. Wants Them to Say

DAMASCUS, (ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad has stressed that contradiction in the Australian officials’ remarks and in the official stances of the Australian government towards Syria reflects the double standards policy of the West in general.

Interviewed by the Australian “SBS” Channel, President Al-Assad said that they (western countries) including Australia are “attacking us politically, but later, send their officials mainly security official, to deal with us under the table.”

“All are doing this, they don’t want to bother the United States and in fact, most western officials are only repeating what the United States wants them to say,” President Al-Assad added.

Full interview of President Al-Assad with the Australian channel will be published tomorrow.
