President Al-Assad: security, war against terrorist organizations and reconciliations

 DAMASCUS, (ST)_Security and war against terrorist organizations in parallel with continued national reconciliations should be the priority for the newly-formed government, underscored H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad.

Chairing a Cabinet meeting following the taking of the Constitutional Oath by its members, H.E. President Al-Assad pointed out to the remarkable achievements by the Syrian Armed Forces against terrorism ,calling on the government to learn by the lessons of the past phase as to evade the negatives. 

”the success of the government depends on gaining the citizens’ trust through transparency, credibility and the citizen participation individually as well as through institutions and through the respect for the citizens’ mind and dignity,” added H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad.

President Al-Assad directed the government to pursue the search for sufficient means as to secure the flow of basic materials and services and support the sectors of agriculture, industry, public sector, and to continue the development of administrations, laws, and necessary mechanisms for this purpose.

H.E. President Al-Assad called on the government to accord necessary attention for morals, educational and cultural process as to improve it and surpass the consequences of the crisis on the coming generations and to work for the realization of equal development between city and countryside.

Reconstruction in all regions where security prevails following the cleansing of terrorists is of top importance, underlined H.E. President Al-Assad, calling on the government to take all measures as to achieve justice, prohibit monopoly and embezzlement, control prices, and fight against the crisis traders.

President Al-Assad reiterated the need for abiding to law,fighting corruption and holding corruptors accountable.

On his part, Premier Dr. Wael Naer Al-Halaqi asserted that the government is to work for the securing of the citizens’ requirements and achieve their interests and provide all the needs for the steadfastness of the Syrians, including the support for the Army and Armed Forces as to continue in fighting terrorism and restoring stability and security to all of the Syrian Arab Republic territories.
