President Al-Assad receives congratulatory cables from leaders of Arab and foreign countries on the occasion of Evacuation Day

Damascus, (ST) –  On the occasion of the 77th  Anniversary of Evacuation Day, President Bashar Al-Assad received on Monday congratulatory cables from the leaders and heads of friendly Arab and foreign countries.

The  leaders offered their  congratulations and best wishes of further progress and prosperity for the Syrian people.

The leaders affirmed their support for the Syrian government’s efforts to defend the state’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, and their keenness to continue working in order to strengthen and develop cooperation relations between their countries and Syria in various fields.

 President Al-Assad received cables from:

  • Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE
  • Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai
  • Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates
  •  President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi
  • President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazwani

President al-Assad also received cables of congratulations from:

  • President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China
  • Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi
