President Al-Assad receives congratulations on Eid al-Fitr

DAMASCUS, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad today Saturday received cables of congratulations on Eid al-Fitr.

The cables were sent by First Sharia Judge in Damascus Mahmoud al-Maarawi, Minister of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments) Mohammad Abdul Sattar al-Sayyed, Justice Minister Hisham al-Sha’ar and the Grand Mufti of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmad Bader Eddin Hassoun.

The senders of the cables extended their congratulations and best wishes to President Al-Assad, Syria, the Syrian people and the Islamic and Arab nations on Eid al-Fitr hoping that Eid will come again while Syria is enjoying peace and celebrating complete victory over its enemies.

They prayed to God to protect Syria and help it overcome  the Coronavirus epidemic crisis.
