In the presence of Prime Minister Engineer Hussein Arnous, and the Ministers of Finance, Electricity, Internal Trade, Consumer Protection, Industry, Social Affairs and Labor, discussions and interventions during the work of the eleventh session of the General Council of Trade Unions Federation focused on a number of workers’ demands and stressed the necessity of joint work between ministries, public institutions, unions and workers’ representatives, with the aim of finding solutions to the issues and difficulties facing the production and investment process and the industrial public sector.
Premier Arnous stressed the government’s keenness to improve the living conditions of workers , pointing out the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination between the relevant government bodies and the Labor Union to find the best ways to address issues related to raising the level of services and achieving sustainable and balanced development.
He indicated that the government’s priority is to provide all forms of support to the agricultural and industrial sectors, expand agricultural industrialization projects, support small projects, and increase production as the basis for economic growth.
He pointed to the importance of investing in industrial areas and cities due to the availability of infrastructure ,such as water, electricity, and other services.
