People of occupied Golan confirm their continuation of the struggle to thwart Israeli settlement plans
The people of the occupied Syrian Arab Golan renewed their condemnation of the Israeli settlement plans in the Golan, stressing their continuation in the struggle to thwart those plans aimed at forcibly displacing its people, bulldozing villages and towns and establishing settlements on them.
In a statement to a SANA reporter, Madian al-Damaqi confirmed that the Golan has been and is still Arab and Syrian. The sons of Golanwho overthrew the plans of the occupation over the past 54 years on its land will eliminate any new scheme that affects its identity, and any settlement endeavor that successive occupation authorities are trying to impose.
For his part, Hayel Masoud noted that the occupation authorities are continuing their efforts to Judaize the Golan and exploit its resources in various ways, denouncing the announcement of the occupation government headed by Naftali Bennett about a plan to increase the number of settlements on its land. He stressed that the people of the Golan, who during more than half a century have not neglected its Syrian Arab identity, will not surrender today and they will continue their struggle to bring down this colonial scheme.
Syria constantly reiterates that the occupied Golan is an integral part of its territory, and that it is working to return every inch of its soil to the homeland by all available means. Syria also voiced its support for the people of Golan in resisting the Israeli occupation and their rejection of the policy of plundering lands and properties pursued by the occupation in the Golan including establishing settlements on its lands with the aim of changing its demographic, geographical and legal nature.
