Participants in the International Flower Show: The exhibition is a platform to introduce and sell our products

Damascus (ST) – Owners of ornamental plant farms as well as rose and tree nurseries await the International Flower Show every year to introduce and promote their various products, learn about the experiences of others, exchange experiences with them, and provide marketing opportunities.

Representative of the Al-Iman nursery in the Al-Adawi area, Alaa Manzoori, indicated that the nursery displays various types of houseplants and outdoor plants including seasonal flowers such as the Damascene rose, gardenia, jasmine and others.

Hanan Maish talked about her interest in growing succulents and thorny plants. She explains to the visitors how to care for them, as they do not need much watering. She also introduces them to the methods of caring for each type of plant.

From Hama, Amir Hisham Qatil, who represents Al-Qatil Nursery, said that they participate in displaying their products of ornamental plants, flowers, and trees such as peaches, cypresses and others, indicating that their permanent participation in the exhibition comes with the aim of getting to know participants from neighboring countries, exchanging ideas with them, and concluding deals to sell and export products.

From the same nursery, Khaled Adnan Qassabashi noted that he and his family work in the profession of growing plants and flowers because they live in agricultural areas, stressing the continuous effort to develop skills in this field through participation in all internal and external exhibitions.

It is noteworthy that the 44th International Flower Show is organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Damascus Governorate at Tishreen Park in Damascus, and its activities continue until the 14th of July.
