Palestinians injured as result of Israeli attack north of Hebron

A number of Palestinians were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces attacking them, in the village of Beit Ainun, north of Hebron in the West Bank.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces, stationed at the entrance to the village, fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the Palestinians, as a result of which three were shot and others suffocated.

Earlier today, the occupation forces closed the entrances to the towns of Sa’ir, Al-Sheikh and Beit Ainun, northeast of Hebron, and the entrance to Al-Arroub camp to the north with iron gates. It prevented the movement of Palestinians and set up military checkpoints at the entrance to the towns of Tarqumiya and Ithna, west of Hebron. It also closed the old town of the city completely to secure the settlers’ incursions into Al-Ibrahimi Mosque.

Dozens of Palestinians were injured today during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the towns of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, and Sa’ir, north of Hebron.
