Palestinians in West Bank city of Al-Khalil protest against Israel’s ongoing settlement expansion

Tens of Palestinians on Saturday took part in a protest against the ongoing Israeli settlement expansion in the Palestinians villages and towns.

WAFA News Agency said that the stand was organized in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil by the Palestinian national forces as well as the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in Masafer Yata town, south of Al-Khalil.

protestors stressed that the Israeli settlers seek to seize the Palestinian lands and property as part of the Israeli occupation’s Judaization scheme to impose new facts on the ground and undermine any hope for establishing the Palestinian State with Al-Quds as its capital.

The protestors also called for confronting the occupation’s settlement expansion plans south of Al-Khalil that aim at besieging the Palestinian villages in this area to displace the residents and to demolish the houses and facilities so that the occupation can expand its settlement building activities and completely separate these villages from Al-Khalil.
