Palestinian Resistance: The right of return is a sacred right passed down through Palestinian generations
The Palestinian resistance affirmed that the right of all Palestinian refugees to return to their homes from which they were displaced by the Israeli occupation is a sacred right passed down by Palestinian generations who will continue the struggle until all their national rights are restored, reiterating categorical rejection by the Palestinian resistance of all attempts aimed at abolishing the right of return guaranteed by all international conventions and laws.
The resistance said in a statement today on the occasion of World Refugee Day, which falls on June 20 of each year: “The Al-Aqsa flood operation restored the issue of Palestinian refugees to its global presence, highlighted its justness and legitimacy, and thwarted attempts to obliterate it. We call for empowering our people to restore their national rights to freedom, independence, return, and ending the occupation.”

The resistance added: “World Refugee Day comes this year at a time when the Zionist occupation continues to commit the most heinous crimes, massacres, starvation and thirst against the Palestinian people, especially the refugees the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in a Nazi war that has been going on for more than eight months.”
The resistance explained that the celebration of World Refugee Day by the United Nations and the countries of the world in the light of the continuation of the genocidal war in Gaza Strip places them all before a humanitarian, legal and moral responsibility in order to put an end to the ongoing Zionist aggression and crime against the Palestinian refugees in the camps of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, whose tragedy is deepened daily by the escalating Zionist crime.
The resistance stressed its rejection of all attempts by the occupation, with the support of the American administration, to cancel the role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees UNRWA, reiterating the direct responsibility of this Agency to provide its services to all Palestinian refugees on an ongoing basis, especially in the Gaza Strip in light of the war and genocide.
