Occupied Al-Quds,(ST)- The Palestinian presidency stressed that the Palestinian people will not allow the Israeli occupation to harm with Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the international community to force the occupation to abide by the legal and historical status quo in the mosque.

WAFA News Agency reported that the presidency spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said in a statement today: The calls of the minister in the occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, to establish a synagogue inside Al-Aqsa Mosque are very dangerous, rejected and condemned. He stressed that the area of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is 144 dunums, belongs to Muslims only.

Abu Rudeineh pointed out that the occupation is trying to drag the region into war, calling on the international community, especially the US administration, to take immediate action to stop it and force it to abide by the legal and historical status quo in the mosque.

Abu Rudeineh stressed that the American political, military and financial support for the occupation is what encourages it to continue its aggression against the Palestinian people, their land and their holy sites. He indicated that Washington bears responsibility for the war of extermination in Gaza Strip and the crimes of killing, detention and destruction in the occupied West Bank, and it must force the occupation to stop its aggression and attacks and settlers’ terrorism.
