Palestinian Presidency: The world must take concrete steps on the ground against Israel

The Palestinian presidency confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s official notification to the United Nations of severing its relationship with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) affirms that it is continuing to target the agency, with the aim of liquidating the refugee issue and eliminating the right of return.
It stressed that the world must take serious steps on the ground against “Israel”.
“The occupation is ignoring all international norms, charters, resolutions and international humanitarian law, and it must bear the consequences of its violations and the consequences of its dangerous decision to sever its relationship with UNRWA” Wafa Agency quoted the presidency’s spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, as saying in a statement on Monday  .
Abu Rudeineh also condemned the settlers’ attacks on cities and towns in the West Bank, the most recent of which was their attack at dawn today on the city of Al-Bireh and their burning of 20 cars.
He pointed out that these terrorist crimes and the expansion of the occupation’s settlement plans come within the framework of the war of extermination waged by the occupation against the Palestinian people, their land and their holy sites.
Abu Rudeineh added that “the United States bears responsibility for the continuation of the war . The US and the international community must pressure Israel to stop its crimes”.
