Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israeli occupation escalates its terrorism to consolidate an apartheid regime

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Oct.13, (ST)- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has affirmed that the Israeli occupation escalates its terrorism against the Palestinians with the target of  ending  their presence in the occupied city of Jerusalem and undermine any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state.

The Ministry said in a statement released on Thursday that the escalation of the occupation’s crimes in Jerusalem, its neighborhoods and its old city, and the continuation of its unjust siege of Shuafat camp and the town of Anata for the 5th day, aims to displace the Palestinians and empty the holy city to complete its Judaization.

It added that the continuation of the bloody storming into Palestinian cities, villages, towns and camps, and the closure of main roads in many areas, as is happening in Nablus, Hebron and its Old City, by the occupation forces and settlers come within the series of crimes of ethnic cleansing committed by the occupation against the Palestinians.

The Ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in stopping the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians and obliging it to implement the rules of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
