OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Jun.22, (ST)_The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli settler’s killing of a Palestinian man in the north of the West Bank.
The Ministry said in a statement released on Wednesday that once again, the international community and countries that sing of their commitment to human rights principles have failed to test their position on the crime of the execution and murder of 27-year-old martyr Ali Harb, who gained notoriety last night after being stabbed by a settler east of Salfit”.
It added that these countries again record a disastrous failure in answering the questions of moral, legal and humanitarian principles invoked by the international system, especially in the face of the crime of racist Israeli terrorism.”
The statement emphasized that the international reaction to this heinous crime is shameful, not only because it has not reached the level of its ugliness, but also because it is dangerous evidence of the loss of human feelings of these countries towards the Palestinians.” victims while we see them beating the drums of war under humanitarian slogans in other parts of the world, but they are silent when the perpetrator is an Israeli colonizer and aggressor and steals the lands of Palestinian citizens.”
It underlined that international silence on this crime, committed by the entire occupying power, is considered not only complicity with the killers, but rather protection for them, and their impunity.
The Ministry said that it would follow up on this heinous crime with all international parties, especially the International Criminal Court and the Permanent Commission of Inquiry set up by the Human Rights Council.”
“We will continue to expose the ugliness of Israeli colonialism and the apartheid system and related crimes in the hope that the international community will wake up and activate systems of responsibility and accountability for Israeli criminals and those behind them,” the statement added.
Yesterday , Israeli settler stabbed Ali Harb, 27, in the heart in the village of Iskaka, near Salfit, killing him. After his stabbing, soldiers in the area, who protected the settlers, prevented Palestinians from attending to Harb for one hour, causing him to bleed to death while on the ground, according to Harb’s cousin, who was with him at the time. The settler is still at large.
