Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder responsibility in stopping the crimes of the Israeli occupation

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community, the United Nations and its specialized institutions to shoulder their responsibilities in stopping the war of extermination and crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers and providing international protection for the Palestinian people.

Wafa News Agency reported that the Foreign Ministry today called in a statement to take the necessary binding measures according to international law, to implement the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice on the legal consequences arising from the long-term Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the occupation government violates all agreements and understandings that were concluded under international auspices and persists in dismembering the Palestinian homeland and striking its demographic and geographical unity, and turning it into isolated areas, with the aim of completing the crimes of ethnic cleansing and annexing the occupied West Bank, including  Al-Quds (Jerusalem), which leads to undermining the embodiment of the geographically contiguous Palestinian state.

The International Court of Justice, the highest judicial body affiliated with the United Nations, announced its advisory opinion on the nineteenth of last month, in which it confirmed that the continued Israeli presence in the Palestinian territories is illegal and that “Israel” should end this occupation as soon as possible.
