Palestinian FM: Israeli occupation practices the worst forms of organized terrorism against Palestinians

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Oct.17, (ST)- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared that the Israeli occupation practices the worst forms of organized terrorism against the Palestinians, stressing that these practices amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

In a statement released on Monday, the ministry said that the occupation authorities are expanding their terrorist areas daily, especially in the city of Al-Quds [Jerusalem], with the aim of separating it from its Palestinian surroundings, and imposing measures that come within the framework of collective punishments targeting Palestinians, in terms of paralyzing their ability to move and closing the entrances to their towns, villages and camps.

It referred to the strict siege being imposed by the occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, the city of Nablus, and the Shuafat camp and its surroundings, and the provision of protection to the settlers to attack the Palestinians, especially during the olive harvest season, with the aim of severing the relationship between the Palestinian and his land and confiscating it to build further settlements.

The statement concluded by saying: “The failure of the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities and fulfill its obligations towards the Palestinian cause encourages the occupation authorities to continue their plans to eliminate any chance of establishing an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 line, with Jerusalem as its capital.”
