Palestine Liberation Army: The decision to partition Palestine is stigma on international organizations

The Presidency of the General Staff of the Palestine Liberation Army confirmed that Resolution 181 issued by the United Nations General Assembly on November 29, 1947, which was known for decades as the “Partition of Palestine” decision, constitutes a condemnation of the so-called international organizations and a true expression of their submission to the will and desire of the major arrogant powers and their transgression of their fundamental role, to become a tool that grants legitimacy to the usurping Zionist occupation supported by the West at the expense of right and justice.

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the issuance of the decision to partition Palestine, the Chief of Staff said in a statement: “The United Nations, through its resolution, ignored the existence of the Palestinian people and their historical rights in their land and homeland. It also ignores the pain, disasters, wars, displacement, bloodshed, and a long series of massacres and atrocities that are almost endless, caused by such resolutions, including what the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as well as Lebanon are witnessing, in the light of the fierce war of extermination waged by the Zionist entity with absolute support from the United States and the West.”

The statement stressed that such resolutions and others will not deter our Arab Palestinian people from the struggle to liberate every inch of their land, as they are fully aware that force, iron, and fire in the face of oppression and tyranny are the basis for liberation, and that victory will come with the sacrifices of our heroes.

The statement renewed the Palestinian Liberation Army’s rejection of everything that affects the rights of the Palestinian people in every inch of their land and its adherence to resistance as an approach and path to liberate the land and achieve legitimate goals.
