Organizations from the Palestinian civil society demand an investigation into the occupation’s crimes against journalists

Occupied Al-Quds-111 organizations from the Palestinian civil society called on the international community to take immediate measures to stop the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, and to open an investigation into the war crimes committed by the occupation against journalists in the Palestinian territories.

In a statement on Tuesday, reported by Wafa Agency, the organizations condemned the horrific massacres committed by the occupation forces against journalists in the Gaza Strip, explaining that targeting press institutions had led, over the past eight months, to the martyrdom of 148 journalists, and the injury and detention of dozens of them, in addition to the destruction of the headquarters of press institutions.

The organizations pointed out that the false allegations and narratives spread by occupation officials regarding what is happening in Gaza Strip aim to hide the truth, falsify the facts on the ground, and impede the documentation and publication of the crimes of the racist occupation, which led to the martyrdom of more than 36 thousand Palestinians, and to the injury of about 83 thousand wounded and to great destruction in the infrastructure.
