People in Quneitra and the occupied Syrian Golan have reaffirmed their love to their homeland and adherence to the Syrian national principles and stressed their confidence in the inevitability of the end of the occupation and the complete liberation of Golan.

The statement reiterated that “all the coercive and repressive measures and practices by the Israeli occupation authorities in Golan, which aimed at Judaizing this occupied part of Syria, will not succeed and are doomed to failure.
“The Golan will remain Arab in identity, land and language, and the people of Quneitra and the Golan will remain loyal to the homeland, and that occupation will end and the Golan will be liberated and return to the Syrian national sovereignty,” the statement said.
Head of the Committee for Supporting Ex-detainees and Detainees in the Occupation jails, the liberated captive Ali Al-Younes affirmed that “all the decisions of the Israeli occupation authorities are not worth the ink they were written with, and they will not change the historical reality of the Golan as part of Syria,” stressing the adherence of the people of the Golan to their right to return to the land of their fathers and grandfathers.
Sheikh Jawdat Al-Taweel pointed out that the anniversary of the ill-famed decision will strengthen the determination of the people in Golan to cling to their land and their Syrian Arab identity.
For his part, Sheikh Omar Al-Tahan pointed out that the war and sanctions to which Syria is being subjected will not deviate us from our national principles and our right to defend our land and restore every inch of the occupied Golan.
