Newly-appointed governors take the oath before President  Al-Assad

DAMASCUS, Oct.19, (ST)- Today, the newly-appointed governors took the oath before President Bashar Al-Assad.

He met with them and provided them with his instructions, wishing them success in their new duties in service to the homeland and the citizen.

On the 17th of October, President Al-Assad issued a decrees appointing new governors for the governorates of Deir Ezzor, Daraa, Lattakia, Hama, and Quneitra.

Decree 255 stipulates for appointing Mr. Munhal Nader Hanawi as governor of Deir Ezzor governorate and Mr. Asaad Yazid al-Toukan as governor of Daraa governorate.

Decree 256 stipulates for appointing Mr. Khaled Walid Abaza as governor of Lattakia governorate.

Decree 257 stipulates for appointing Mr. Kamal Abdul Rahman Barmo as governor of Hama governorate.

Decree 258 stipulates for appointing Mr. Tony Aziz Hanna as governor of Quneitra governorate.
