On May 18th, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said that the great results of the parliamentary elections gave strong messages about adherence to the resistance and a state capable of reforms, civil peace, coexistence, and addressing life and economic crises.
“First of all thanks to all who participated in the elections, especially to those who gave their votes to the resistance, its allies and friends despite the declared and clear targeting of the resistance, the media and psychological attack on it and its allies, economic pressures and creating crises,” Sayyed Nasrallah said in his speech after the election results were published.
Sayyed Nasrallah considered that the extent of the financial, monetary, economic and life crises that Lebanon suffers from cannot be treated by one side alone, even if it obtains the majority.
Sayyed Nasrallah said that no political party can claim that the parliamentary majority is with it, especially since crises are only dealt with through partnership and cooperation among all.
