Mortar attack kills 13-year-old boy playing basketball in Faiha’a stadium in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists have killed a 13-year-old boy and wounded two others by mortar attack on al-Faiha’a Stadium in Damascus, a police command source said Monday.

The source said that two mortar shells, fired by terrorists, hit al-Faiha’a Stadium where a 13-year-old boy was martyred and two others wounded as they were playing basketball.

On September 4, 2013, a member of the Syrian national Taekwondo team, Mohammad Ali Ne’ameh, was martyred in a mortar attack on the same stadium.

Al-Faiha’a stadium is located north-west the contested Jobar quarter in which Takfiri terrorist organizations spread.

Another mortar attack took place today in Damascus when a mortar round landed on al-Adawi highway causing material damages. No one was reportedly hurt.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
