Capitals (ST): The Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than six million and 155 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American worldometer website.

According to the website, the total number of Corona infections around the world has so far reached 48,482,1183, and the total deaths to 6,155,110 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 4,186,62,441 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 1,004,654 deaths out of 8,166,860 infections, followed by India with 521,098 deaths out of 4,321,982 infections, and Brazil third, with 659,241 deaths out of 2,9882397 infections.
