Capitals (ST): The Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than six million and 109 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of corona infections around the world has so far reached 4,737,56,054, and the total deaths have reached 6,109,866 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 4,09684730 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 999,565 deaths out of 8,1464,257 infections, followed by India with 516,574 deaths out of 43010,971 infections, and Brazil third with 657696 deaths out of 2,9682,615 infections.
