More than 240 new cases of corona in Germany and 657 deaths in India

Capitals (ST): India recorded 657 deaths and 58,077 new infections with the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

According to the World Meter website, the total number of corona infections reached 42 million and 536,137 cases, while the total deaths related to the disease reached 507,208 cases.

India ranks second in the world after the United States in terms of the number of coronavirus infections and third in terms of the number of deaths after the United States and Brazil.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today that the number of confirmed infections with the virus increased to 12,9712, after recording 240,172 new infections, while the total deaths reached 119,679 after 226 new deaths were recorded.

In China, the National Health Committee announced today that 101 new infections were recorded yesterday, up from 29 cases the day before, noting that 56 of the new infections were transmitted locally, compared to seven cases the day before.
