Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs discusses enhancing cooperation with Finnish Relief Organization in supporting people with disabilities
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Louay Al-Munajjid discussed with the Director of the Finnish Relief Organization Mazen Makhzoum cooperation relations between the two sides and ways to develop them in many common areas.
Minister Al-Munajjid pointed to the importance of cooperation with the organization in many areas related to social protection and the labor market and developing special programs for people with disabilities to rehabilitate and train them, and enable them to enter the labor market, stressing the need to establish partnerships with local non-governmental organizations to support their work on the ground to achieve a tangible impact.
For his part, Makhzoum pointed out the organization’s desire to sign a cooperation agreement with the ministry that includes all fields, focusing on people with disabilities, and preparing special programs for them that qualify them to enter the labor market, in addition to programs that contribute to their integration first into schools and later into society.
