Minister Of Oil Inaugurates Production Line Of Industrial Greases in Homs Refinery

Homs –(ST)-  Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Firas Qaddour inaugurated the industrial grease production line in Homs Refinery with a production capacity of 1500 tons per year.

The industrial grease production line is considered as the first of its kind in Syria in terms of modernity and it aims to secure all types of industrial greases according to international and Syrian standard specifications and at suitable prices.

The oil blending plant includes an advanced laboratory that contains all modern equipments and is certified to match all types of oils and greases.

The Minister of Oil stressed that this line is one of the important economic projects that support the national economy, as the produced materials will be sold at an economic and competitive price, about 15 percent lower than market prices according to financial studies. The recovery time for the cost of establishing this line will be about a year and a half, and it has a great economic return, he clatified

He also noted the efforts of the engineers and technicians supervising the work and their high experience in this type of industry.
