Minister of Health inaugurates new specialized departments in the General Authority of Qamishli Hospital
Hasakah, (ST) – The Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash on Wednesday inaugurated a number of new specialized departments in the General Authority of Qamishli Hospital. The departments specialize in burns, prosthetics, physical therapy, emergency, intensive care, and kidney care, in addition to providing the hospital with modern medical imaging devices.
The Minister of Health affirmed in a press statement that the opening of these departments comes within the framework of the ministry’s continued work to provide health care through its institutions in various governorates, enhancing detective, therapeutic, and preventive medical services for citizens, improving their quality and type, and developing the health reality in various regions.
Minister Al-Ghabbash stated that the hospital’s emergency department has been equipped with a new multi-slice CT device, that can image the entire body and is equipped with advanced technologies and applications, as well as a modern magnetic resonance device.
The Minister praised the efforts of health sector workers in Al-Hasakah Governorate and their constant dedication to performing their humanitarian duty despite all the challenges and difficult circumstances.
In turn, Hasakah Governor Louay Sayyouh pointed out that Al-Qamishli National Hospital is an important health facility that provides services to the people in the governoratethe and the people in the eastern region in general free of charge.
For his part, the Director General of the General Authority of Qamishli Hospital Omar Al-Akoub noted the importance of the new departments and equipment that have been put into service, stressing their role in improving the health care provided to citizens.
