Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution’s Advisor congratulates President Al-Assad on his victory in the presidential elections

Tehran (ST): The advisor of the Iranian Islamic Revolution’s Leader for International Affairs, Ali Akbar Velayati, sent a cable of congratulations to President Bashar al-Assad, congratulating him on his victory in the presidential elections.

“I extend my sincere congratulations on your success again in gaining the confidence of the great Syrian people in these critical circumstances,” said the cable published by the Iranian news agency IRNA, considering that this success is the success of the entire axis of resistance.

Velayati added that the Iranian people consider themselves a partner in this great success, which is a strong blow to terrorism and its supporters, expressing wishes for more success, pride and advancement for the Syrian people.
