Kilziya shines in Indonesia

Jakarta,(ST)-Syrian brilliant swimmer Ayman Kilziya has clinched Syria’s first medal in 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games currently being held in Indonesia.

Kilziya took a bronze medal as he finished third in the 400m medley relay swimming discipline.

Kilziya finished the race with a time of four minutes,32 seconds and 73 parts of a second.

With this marvelous win,Kilziya scored a new Syrian record broking his previous record4,36,56.

Kilziya will take part in the 100 m butterfly contest due to be held tomorrow.

It is to be noted that Syria is taking part in the said event in the following games: football, track and field events, weightlifting, taekwondo, karate and swimming.
