Kanaani holds United States responsible for the criminal actions of the Zionist entity

Tehran (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, stressed that the Palestine issue constitutes the most important political and humanitarian issue in the entire world, reiterating his country’s support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.

“The United States of America bears full responsibility for the criminal actions of the Zionist entity and its crimes as a result of its support for it”, Kanaani said during his weekly press conference, stressing the need for Washington to prevent the escalation of the situation in the region.

Kanaani indicated that the Israeli occupation represents a source of instability and insecurity in the region, noting that peace will prevail in the region when the international community stops the Zionist killing machine.

Regarding the Israeli aggression against Yemen two days ago, Kanaani reiterated that this attack constitutes a violation of Yemeni national sovereignty and inflames tension, and that the international community and the United States must bear the responsibility of stopping these Zionist criminal acts.

Regarding the impact of the American elections on Iran’s foreign policy, Kanaani stressed that changing governments is not important for Iran, pointing out that a radical change in America’s hostile policies against Iran could change the atmosphere.
