Israeli enemy’s shelling on Lebanese towns causes wildfires
BEIRUT, JUN.8, (ST)- Today, the Israeli enemy renewed its attacks with missiles and tanks on the villages and towns of southern Lebanon, causing wildfires on the outskirts of Mays al-Jabal area.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the town of Houla, Al-Marj neighborhood, and Wadi Al-Dalafa were subjected to heavy artillery shelling, indicating that Israeli enemy soldiers stationed inside the Al-Abad and Al-Manara sites combed the houses of Houla directly with machine guns.
It added that the Lebanese Civil Defense and firefighting teams continued to work to extinguish a large fire caused by the Israeli enemy’s shelling on the outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal, pointing out that the Israeli soldiers used materials that would increase the flames of fires.
