Israeli occupation continues its crimes of genocide in northern Gaza Strip

The Israeli occupation continued its aggression and crimes of genocide in the northern Gaza Strip governorate for the 51st consecutive day, through bombing homes and infrastructure, and through  a tight siege that prevents medicine, food and water, to force the Palestinians to flee south.

Wafa Agency reported that the aggression on the northern governorate left more than two thousand martyrs and hundreds of wounded and detainees, in addition to the displacement of more than half of its population of about 200 thousand Palestinians, amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions and the destruction of entire residential neighborhoods.

In recent weeks, the occupation forces have forced tens of thousands of Palestinians to flee from the northern governorate to Gaza City, in an attempt by the occupation to establish a buffer zone.

About 80 thousand of those who remained in their homes or the buildings to which they fled inside northern Gaza are suffering from tragic conditions, as a result of the intensive raids and fire from Israeli vehicles and marches.

Despite the displacement of tens of thousands from the northern Gaza Strip, many Palestinians still refuse to leave their homes and live daily scenes of destruction and devastation, with the humanitarian situation worsening under the tight siege, continuous bombing, food and medicine shortages, and the lack of any rescue teams.

Famine has worsened in most areas of the Strip due to the ongoing occupation siege, especially in the north, following the persistence of genocide and starvation, coinciding with the arrival of winter for the second year in a row for about two million displaced Palestinians, most of whom are sleeping in tents.

44,176 Palestinians were killed, the majority of whom were women and children, and 104,473 others were injured, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
