Ireland calls for an end to the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians in Gaza

Dublin, (ST) – Irish Parliament Speaker Seán Ó Fearghaíl called for an end to the “brutal and unjust massacre” committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

News agencies quoted Fearghaíl as saying in statements: This brutal, unjustified massacre that we see every day must end.

He considered that this massacre cannot end except with initiatives from other countries in the region and pressure from the international community.

Fearghaíl pointed to Ireland’s recognition of Palestine as a state and its solidarity with Palestinian children suffering from the conflict there.

The Speaker of the Irish Parliament condemned the actions of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, holding him responsible for the massacres and the ongoing war in Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation aggression against Gaza has been continuous for more than 9 months, ignoring UN Security Council resolutions to stop the war immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, take measures to prevent acts of genocide and send humanitarian aid.
