Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, announced that Iran’s response to the Israeli aggression and the assassination of the former head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran will be as surprising as possible.
“The timing of the Iranian response will be precisely determined to ensure that it happens as surprising as possible, and this response must be carefully prepared to avoid any possible negative impact on the possible ceasefire in Gaza,”IRNA quoted Iravani as saying.
Iravani added: “Iran’s response must have two specific results: the first is to punish the aggressor for terrorism and violation of Iran’s national sovereignty, and the second is to strengthen Iran’s deterrence power and prevent any future aggression.”
