Baghdad, (ST)- The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced that the Iraqi air forces conducted airstrikes on terrorist hideouts in Diyala and Kirkuk governorates, east and north of the country.
The Iraqi news agency INA reported that the cell said in a statement on Wednesday “based on accurate information, Iraqi air forces targeted ISIS terrorist hideouts, destroying 4 of them in Diyala and 6 in Kirkuk governorate. The cell said that the strikes hit their targets accurately.
The statement pointed out that these strikes are part of the ongoing operation to prevent the terrorists from using their former hideouts, and to cut off their logistical supply routes.
