Iranian Foreign Ministry condemns the assassination of Colonel Khodayi

Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned the assassination of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodayi by terrorists who shot him southeast of Tehran.

Khatibzadeh said in a statement today, “The terrorists imagine that they will prevent the Iranian people from achieving their goals, but they do not know that the blood of the martyrs is the one that guarantees the survival of this people and this country,” noting that this crime was committed by terrorist elements affiliated with the global arrogant regime, accompanied by the support and silence of the countries that claim to fight terrorism.
Khadayi was martyred in front of his home in the capital, Tehran, after he was shot at by two terrorists riding a motorcycle.
