Iran and Malaysia stress the need for serious action to stop the Zionist genocide in Gaza

Tehran (ST) –Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim affirmed the need for serious action to stop the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza Strip.

Pezeshkian and Ibrahim criticized, during a phone call today, the policies of America and a number of Western countries that support the Zionist entity in the media and militarily sectors.

They stressed that this approach contradicts the slogans repeated by those countries regarding defending human rights and efforts aimed at a ceasefire.

The Iranian President and the Malaysian Prime Minister reviewed the latest developments in bilateral relations, current developments in the region, especially the progress of the ongoing negotiations to activate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

 They noted to the important role of Islamic countries in confronting the crimes of the Zionist entity and stopping the massacres and genocide in Gaza.
