International Scientific Conference On Regional Planning and Artificial Intelligence Applications Kicks Off At Damascus University
Damascus-(ST)- With Arab and foreign participation, the work of the Third International Scientific Conference on Regional Planning and Artificial Intelligence Applications, organized by the Higher Institute for Regional Planning, began on Wednesday in the Reda Saeed Conference Hall at the University of Damascus.
The event is held under the title “The role of regional planning in achieving the goals of sustainable development and within the applications of Artificial Intelligence.”
Over two days, the conference participants will discuss a number of topics, including regional development of natural resources, environmental protection, regional planning for infrastructure and services, and integrated regional studies.
The conference includes many workshops and projects at the national level, and 86 peer-reviewed papers will be presented by conference arbitration committees composed of local and international professors.
Specialists and experts from “Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Sudan, Mauritania, Italy, France, Britain, and Denmark” are participating in the conference, and 32 articles from Arab and European universities have been accepted for publication in the Damascus University Journal.
This year’s conference is distinguished by the participation of Syrian youth teams through interactive scientific workshops on the role of Syrian youth in regional planning, under the supervision of the National Union of Syrian Students.
The conference is also accompanied by an exhibition of the institute’s products “panorama style” and an exhibition of the academic bodies participating in the conference.
