Inauguration ceremony of Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian begins

The inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian began on Sunday  in the Iranian capital, Tehran, in the presence of the Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Ali Khamenei and a crowd of political officials and military leaders.
“Our relations with countries of the world, especially Islamic countries, must be based on constructive dealing, and we will seek to strengthen Iran’s position and international relations on the basis of the principle of dignity” President Pezeshkian said in his speech during the inauguration ceremony:
President Pezeshkian added that the unity of the Iranian people and their leadership is what guarantees Iran  progress towards a strong country.
For his part, Mr. Khamenei stressed in his speech during the inauguration ceremony that the elections in their 14th session were held in the best manner within a good competitive and moral atmosphere.
Mr. Khamenei said that popular sovereignty in Iran is the result of the revolution and renaissance of the people to confront past adversities and calamities.
Mr. Khamenei added that the strength of the resistance is growing more and more day after day, and the Zionist entity has not been able to break the resistance and bring it to its knees.
“We do not have hostility with European countries, but they are not among our priorities because their policies towards us were not good on many issues” Mr. Khamenei said.
Mr. Ali Khamenei stressed that the Zionist entity is a criminal gang of murderers and terrorists, and the Gaza issue has become a global one.
