In the presence of the Iranian and Venezuelan presidents, Iran hands over to Venezuela  second oil tanker

On June 11th, a ceremony was held for the sailing of the second Iranian-made Aframaxoil tanker towards Venezuela, in the presence of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro, who is visiting Tehran.

The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that the ceremony of the sailing of the Iranian tanker from the Gulf region towards Venezuelan waters took place directly and via video.

In this ceremony, documents for the delivery of the tanker “Aframax” were approved between the officials of the Iranian manufactured “Sadara” company and the Venezuelan side.

It is noteworthy that the “Aframax” tanker is the second of its kind that sailed towards Venezuela, according to the agreement signed between Tehran and Caracas.

Earlier, Iran and Venezuela, in the presence of Presidents Raisi and Maduro, signed an agreement for comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries for a period of 20 years.
